The Field-to-Cash Leakage Review

A diagnosis, not a deck.

You send six reports you already have. We return a one-page map of completed and approved work that has not become cash — with the handoff where it stopped and the owner who can move it.

What it takes

Reports you
already run.

Nothing here requires a new system, a data-mapping project, or read access on day one. It is an export and a conversation.

What you send

Redacted is fine. We are looking for shape, age and ownership — not customer names.

  • Completed jobs — last 30 daysjob level, not summary
  • Unbilled work reportas your system exports it
  • Open AR ageing30 / 60 / 90 buckets
  • Change orders and extrasapproved and pending
  • Service agreements and renewal schedulenext 90 days
  • Job costing summaryif you have one

What comes back

One page. Specific dollar figures where your data supports them, and an explicit note where it does not.

  • Estimated value of work that is complete but not yet billed
  • The oldest blocked items, by age and by owner
  • Where revenue is stuck at each handoff — field, ops, billing, collections
  • Which items have no named owner at all
  • A recovery priority order: what to bill first, and why
  • What Hermes would handle, and what it would not
If the recoverable opportunity is not clearly larger than our fee, we will tell you not to proceed. That is the whole test. A leakage map that does not clear the retainer is not a proposal — it is a reason to walk away, and we will say so in writing.

Scope

Where the line is.

A review is only useful if it is honest about what it does not cover.

Hermes handles

Finding, ageing and routing

Unbilled and blocked work, change-order recovery, invoice drafts for approval, escalation timing, renewal gaps, margin flags — each with a named owner and a next action.

Stays with you

Every decision and every ledger entry

Your team approves invoices, sets credit terms, decides on disputes, and owns customer relationships. Hermes prepares and chases; it does not decide.

Not in scope

Advisory, legal and collections escalation

We do not provide accounting, tax or legal advice, we do not file anything on your behalf, and we do not send legal demand letters or hand anything to a collections agency.

How long does the review take?

Usually three to five working days from the export, depending on how many branches and job types are involved.

What does it cost?

Nothing, and it carries no obligation. It is how we both find out whether there is something worth paying for.

Do you need access to our systems?

No. Not for the review. Read-only connections only come up if you decide to proceed — and never before a signed scope.

Who is this not for?

Single-crew shops, businesses without reliable job records, and teams that cannot assign an owner to a recovery action. The review would find leakage nobody could act on.

Bring the job list and the unbilled report. If they are not the same list, that gap is the first thing we will show you.
